Winter Sangria Recipes

Looking for something a little festive to serve with your holiday dinner? Look no further than one of these two delicious Sangria recipes that would be perfect pairing to any holiday dinner.

 

Winter Red Sangria

 

Ingredients:

1 bottle of sweet Red Wine

1 cup Pomegranate Juice

¼ cup Triple Sec, Cointreau, or Grand Marnier

¼ cup Brandy

2 Tbsp Simple Syrup

1 Orange, cut into slices

1 Green Apple, cored and cut into slices

1 cup Grapes, halved

¼ Blackberries

½ cup Pomegranate seeds

Cranberries to garnish

 

Directions:

 

Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and chill for a minimum of 4 hours, but over night is recommended. Pour into glasses over ice and garnish with the Cranberries.

 

 White Holiday Sangria

 

Ingredients:

1 bottle White Wine

1 bottle Sparkling Grape Juice or Sparkling Apple Cider

¾ cup Cranberries, whole

1/3 cup Cranberries, halved

½ cup green grapes, halved

2 Granny Smith Apples, cored and cut into cubes

2-3 Sprigs of Rosemary, additional needed for serving

Club Soda

Light Corn Syrup

Coconut Flakes

 

Directions:

Add all ingredients except the club soda, corn syrup, and coconut flakes to a large pitcher. Refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours, but overnight is recommended. When ready to serve, add the coconut flakes to a shallow bowl or a plate, do the same for the corn syrup. Dip the rims of your glasses into the corn syrup and then into the coconut flakes. Pour the sangria into each glass, top off with a splash of the club soda, and garnish with additional Rosemary stem.
